Sapphire: is the crystal form of aluminium oxide (Al2O3), belong to corundum family. The corundum group consists of pure aluminium oxide. It also consist of other elements such as iron, titanium and chromium give sapphires their blue, yellow, pink, purple, orange or greenish color. Sapphires are found in India (Mostly in Kashmir area, Kashmir sapphire is s regarded the most beautiful and most valuable blue), Burma, Ceylon, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Brazil and Africa.
